Join Dawn McRae from Custom Gourmet and discover how to create new dishes that are simply to prepare, but look like you spent all day in the kitchen. Learn to make a tapenade spread with fresh pita chips, how to take a simple date to the next level and work with the ever so daunting phyllo dough. During this workshop there will be some hands on participation, but only if you feel up to the task. Otherwise you can just stay on the side lines and watch, the choice is yours. With the colder season slowly approaching, our bodies naturally crave warm stomach satisfying soups. So why not give in to the temptation… During this hands on interactive workshop, Dawn McRae of Custom Gourmet will teach us how. We will look into the elements that make a great soup, from stock basics to choosing the right ingredients. Then with all this information, we will proceed to make three different soups, including a clear broth, a puree and a cream based chowder….this is a class not to miss.
